If you have memories of your day starting with someone saying that, you're in the right place. For many of us, Camp Taconic, in Hinsdale, Massachusetts, holds a special place in our lives. Campers, counselors and staff all have fine memories of their years on Lake Ashmere.
This site is a place to rediscover those memories, find old friends, and swap experiences. Many features are planned, and suggestions are always welcome. Please visit the message board and contribute to the discussions there.
Depicted above are Bob and Alex Kinoy, long-time owners of Taconic, and Don Hurst, one of the great members of the staff. Don was a part of Taconic for as long as most folks could remember. Bob, Alex and Don are missed by all who knew them.

The idea for the site and the development work is brought to you by Daniel Senie, a Taconic camper from 1972 until 1976, and staff in 1977. The web site is hosted by Dan's company, Amaranth Networks Inc., as a service to the alumni of Taconic.
